Phil Hart received a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He makes his living as a licensed structural engineer. As an athlete, Phil qualified for the U.S. Cycling Nationals the first time he rode a 25 mile time trial, and came within 6 seconds of the American record for the 10 mile time trial. He was also the winner of two World Cup races on the masters FIS alpine ski racing series. Phil has served eight years in the Idaho legislature.
